#Magic Moments - Fun Fan Creation
Cool down and get creative at the same time with our fun fan craft. Get creative with the design and don’t forget to send us a picture.

Materials: A paper plate, paint, paintbrush, 2 wooden craft sticks, glue
Main Learning Outcomes: Developing fine motor skills, fosters creativity and early literacy skills
Steps:
1. Start by sitting down and reading ‘On a Hot Summer Day’. If you don’t have this book, listen along on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4oL3vTVu9o
Start out by cutting the paper plate in half, (keep little fingers out of the way of scissors!)
Paint your fan with whatever design you like - we went for a watermelon!
Glue together 2 craft sticks in a V shape. Wait for the glue and paint to dry.
Put 3 dots of glue on the ends of the craft sticks and stick them to the back of your fan.
Once the glue is dry, you’re all done!
Tips:
If you would like to use your fan to cool down, use clear tape to make sure the sticks don’t break off.
