#Magic Moments- We're Going on a Bear Hunt!

Here’s a good classic book (and song) that the children love!
Materials: YouTube, 2 paper rolls, tape, yarn or string and markers or other decoration materials.
Main Learning Outcomes: Developing fine motor skills, creativity and early literacy skills.
Steps:
(1) First, get you and your child ready to read (and perhaps act out) the story, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen. If you don’t have the book at home, you can listen to it by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gyI6ykDwds
(2) Using 2 toilet paper roles, or a paper towel role cut into 2 halves, attach them together using tape. Now make a hole on the outside of each roll on the top side. Using a piece of string or yarn about a foot in length, tie each end to each hole on the rolls. Now decorate as you like!
Tips: As an extension for older children, encourage them to make a map to outline the story of their bear hunt!
