#Working [Mom/Dad] Moment- Grouchy Ladybugs!

Have you been outside looking for ladybugs yet???
Materials: YouTube, Red origami paper, or paper cut into a square, white paper and black paper, and a black marker.
Main Learning Outcomes: Developing fine motor skills, creativity and early literacy skills.
Steps:
(1) First, cuddle up with your child to read the story, “The Grouchy Ladybug” by Eric Carle. If you don’t have the book at home, you can listen to it by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlhucZKcALk
(2) We are going to make our own grouchy ladybug bookmark! Follow the steps here at this link: https://www.easypeasyandfun.com/ladybug-corner-bookmark/
Tips: If you child isn’t interested in making a ladybug, try one of the other bookmark designs on the website (monster, bunny, frog, octopus, etc). For younger children, you can do the folding and let them do the decorating (who said it needs to look like a ladybug)?
