#Working [Mom/Dad] Moment- One Fish, Two Fish

Today we are in for some rhyming fun!

Materials: YouTube, markers, crayons or pencil crayons, paper (preferably different colour origami paper, but regular will work just fine cut into a square).

Main Learning Outcomes: Developing fine motor skills and early literacy skills.

Steps:

(1) First, gather together with your child to read an old favourite by Dr. Seuss called, “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”. If you don’t have the book at home, you can listen to it by following this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oOPlqHUBJ0

(2) You can find step by step instructions to make your own fish by going to this link: https://www.easypeasyandfun.com/easy-origami-fish/. Then draw on the eyes, and maybe some fills and gills or any other designs that you want on your fish.

Tips: For toddlers, parents will have to do the folding, but the children will be happy to do the decorating. Add stickers or glitter for some added fun!
